Event invitation to ‘Spotlight on IMAS’, Tuesday 11 June 2024 at 1830, Vienna

This important event, Spotlight on IMAS, will present the results of the International Map of Axial Spondyloarthritis, a global survey into the effects of axial SpA on the physical, mental health and socioeconomic lives of patients. The reception will bring together stakeholders from the clinical, pharmaceutical and patient worlds with the keynote delivered by Dr Xenofon Baraliakos, President of ASAS.

ASIF, for those who don’t know, is the global organisation representing national patient organisations in 45 countries supporting people living with axial SpA.

The recently published ASIF report “The Burden of Axial Spondyloarthritis: A global patient perspective”, summarises the survey’s findings and contains calls to action directed at policymakers and healthcare professionals aimed at achieving earlier diagnosis and better patient care. ASIF’s future work will include a strong focus on advocating for and supporting delivery of these actions. The ASIF website includes interactive webpages where you can drill deeper into the data.
